The aim of our games..
Our aim is simple; to enhance, support and sustain your health, fitness and well-being through an innovative and fun amalgamation of exercise and board games.
How much exercise do young people aged 5 to 18 need to do to keep healthy?
Children and young people need to do 2 types of physical activity each week:
- aerobic exercise
- exercises to strengthen their muscles and bones
What happen if you don't exercise?
If you do less exercise or activity you will become deconditioned. Your muscles weaken and lose bulk including the muscles you need for breathing and the large muscles in your legs and arms. You will become more breathless as you do less activity.
Exercise recommendation for adults
Adults need to do exercises that work all the major muscles (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms) on at least 2 days/150 minutes a week.
